FAIRFIELD, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say a southwestern Ohio teenager has been fatally shot in an apparent home-invasion robbery.
Police in Fairfield, north of Cincinnati, say 19-year-old Julian Slaven was killed late Saturday after two suspects entered his home and demanded money.
Fairfield police Officer Doug Day told the Dayton Daily News (http://bit.ly/WqQukR ) that the shooting apparently was not random. Slaven's mother and a family friend were at the home at the time and called 911.
Investigators were trying to determine how the suspects entered the house. They fled and are still being sought.
