Humboldt firefighter airlifted after burn injuries

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. (AP) — A Humboldt city firefighter has been airlifted to a Memphis hospital after sustaining a burn injury.

According to WBBJ-TV (http://bit.ly/Tabag0 ), Michael Lewis was injured Thursday night during a house fire. Lewis received burns to his hands and had smoke inhalation.

He was flown to the Regional Medical Center and officials said Friday morning he was recovering well.
