MASSILLON, Ohio (AP) — A former high school coach charged in Ohio with videotaping nude boys in the locker room has waived a preliminary hearing and the case will go to a grand jury.
Massillon (MAS'-ih-lawn) Municipal Court Judge Edward Elum (EE'-luhm) continued the $2 million bond for 46-year-old Scott Studer on Wednesday.
The freshman basketball coach at Jackson High School near Canton was arrested last week after investigators searched his home and found nude images on a DVD, a laptop computer and a flash drive.
WEWS-TV in Cleveland reports (bit.ly/UX1ZoD) that 64 boys have been identified on the videos. The materials were found during a search led by postal inspectors.
Studer quit his jobs as coach and school building aide on the day he was arrested.
