MIAMI (AP) — Miami-Dade Police are questioning a male student in the shooting of a 13-year-old girl this morning on a charter school bus in the Miami area.
There's no word on the condition of the shooting victim, who was airlifted to a hospital. It's not clear what prompted the shooting inside the bus in Homestead, south of Miami.
Concerned parents gathered at the scene, which was cordoned off by crime scene tape.
Grief counselors were sent to the charter school.
