TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in northwest Ohio say a teenager has been charged in the fatal shooting of a young woman over the weekend.

WTOL-TV (http://bit.ly/S5qkFW ) in Toledo reports that 18-year-old Traquawan Gibson was charged in the Sunday shooting of 19-year-old Crijannia "CJ" Bell. He was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning.

Police say Bell — a student who was studying criminal justice — was shot five times in the chest Sunday night and died in surgery at a hospital.

They say Gibson was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was charged after a brief investigation.
