TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Calling hours are being held Saturday for three children who died in a Toledo murder-suicide apparently plotted by their grandmother and uncle.
Firefighters on Monday using a sledgehammer broke down a garage door to find the bodies of 5-year-old Madalyn Hayes, 7-year-old Logan Hayes and 10-year-old Paige Hayes slumped inside a car along with their grandmother and uncle.
Visitation is Saturday afternoon and evening and again Sunday afternoon and evening at Dowling Funeral Home in Toledo.
Funeral services are Monday at Olivet Lutheran Church in suburban Sylvania.
Police say it appears the murder-suicide was planned at least four days in advance and stemmed from a custody dispute with the children's mother.
