SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. (AP) — A body found in Sedro-Woolley has been identified as an 80-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease who wandered away Oct. 1 from a memory care home.

The Skagit Valley Herald reports (http://is.gd/ssvyy0) the body of Ramon "Ray" Jones was found Wednesday hidden in tall grass on residential property about half-mile away.

County search crews using dogs, helicopters and thermal cameras had looked for Jones for a week. His niece, Bonnie Jones Graham of Billings, Mont., covered the area with missing person fliers.

Jones grew up in Ennis, Mont., served in the Army in Korea and lived in Anacortes and Mill Creek before moving to the Sedro-Woolley home.
