LAS VEGAS (AP) — Awards have gone to Dominican songwriter Juan Luis Guerra, Mexican brother-sister pop duo Jesse & Joy, Spanish pop singer David Bisbal and Cuban jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval at the 13th Annual Latin Grammys on Thursday in Las Vegas.
Hosted by actors Cristian De La Fuente and Lucero, the ceremony attracted superstars new and old to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center and Casino.
Jesse & Joy won best recording of the year for "Corre!" and best music video for "Me Voy."
Guerra, who came into the ceremony as the leading nominee with six bids, won producer of the year for Juanes' album "MTV Unplugged." David Bisbal took home the mini-gramophone for best traditional vocal pop album.
Jazzman Sandoval took home his sixth Latin Grammy for "Dear Diz (Every Day I Think of You)."
