CINCINNATI (AP) — The downtown Cincinnati police headquarters and nearby schools have been evacuated because of a suspicious package.

Cincinnati police took the action Thursday after a delivery truck driver showed up with a package he said had a bogus address.

District 1 police headquarters and schools including Taft High School were evacuated Thursday afternoon. Some homes in the area were also evacuated.

Police didn't release other details immediately, but called in a bomb squad to help investigate and decide what to do with the package.
