CANTON, Ohio (AP) — The Repository newspaper in Canton has named a new managing editor of the paper and its affiliated websites, CantonRep.com and FridayNightOhio.com.
Scott Brown previously was the newspaper's director of digital content, and also served as an assistant managing editor and sports designer since joining The Repository in 2004.
Executive Editor Teri Hayt announced Wednesday that Brown will oversee all aspects of news operations and content for the paper and websites.
Hayt says Brown's experience with news and design will serve the paper well in coming years.
