NEW YORK (AP) — Million-selling author Ellen Hopkins has a deal for two more young adult novels.

Known for candid stories written in verse, Hopkins has a new agreement with her longtime publisher, Margaret K. McElderry Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

The publisher announced Thursday that the first of the two new novels, "Rumble," will tell of a nihilistic teenager who undergoes a life-changing accident. No release date has been set.

Hopkins' previous novels include "Crank," ''Burned" and "Perfect." Her most recent book, "Tilt," came out in September.
