House speaker confident on Romney in Ohio

WEST CHESTER, Ohio (AP) — House Speaker John Boehner (BAY'nurh) says he feels confident about Mitt Romney's chances in his pivotal home state of Ohio.

Boehner says the election comes down to turnout, not polls. He says he has never seen such energy and enthusiasm among Republicans across the state, after campaigning around Ohio over the last four days. Boehner also thinks Romney has pocketbook issues on his side.

He expects the GOP to keep a solid majority in the House. Boehner voted Tuesday morning in the Ronald Reagan Lodge in a park in his heavily Republican home area of West Chester Township in southwest Ohio.
