SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Savannah's police chief is calling on witnesses to come forward after a shooting at a Georgia fair that wounded seven people, most of them teenagers.

Police tell The Savannah Morning News (http://bit.ly/TsIkGk) that about 15 males, who appeared to be in their teens, converged on the midway around Saturday night at the Coastal Empire Fair. Police Chief Willie Lovett said a witness told investigators that at least one of them had a gun in his waistband.

Police spokesman Julian Miller says no one was killed in the gunfire, but seven people were treated for gunshot wounds.

Witnesses described seeing a gunman wearing a dark jumpsuit. No arrests had been made by early Monday.

Savannah Mayor Edna Jackson is planning a news conference Monday to discuss the shooting.
