COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A man has died and a woman has been critically injured after they were shot inside an apartment on the city's south side.
The Columbus Dispatch reports (http://bit.ly/PGanam) that 39-year-old Marcus Leonard died at about 6 p.m. Tuesday at Grant Medical Center of multiple gunshot wounds, about a half-hour after the shootings took place in an apartment complex.
Columbus Police Sgt. Christ Holzhauser of the homicide squad says 59-year-old Theresa Cooper is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Holzhauser says Cooper lived in the apartment but he did not how she and Leonard knew one another.
The shootings are being investigated. Holzhauser says it is believed there was more than one assailant.
