Obama attends church, tracks storm developments

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is attending church with his daughters and tracking developments with Hurricane Sandy before traveling to Florida later Sunday ahead of a campaign appearance Monday.

Obama and his two daughters walked to St. John's Episcopal Church through Lafayette Park across from the White House on a brisk and overcast morning.

The president said "morning, guys" to reporters and photographers as he passed them.

First lady Michelle Obama was traveling to Chicago on Sunday.
