BUCYRUS, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's fire marshal says the cause of a fire that devastated the tiny town of Bucyrus can't be determined.

The Dickinson Press reports (http://bit.ly/TJdGyE) that the fire marshal's office issued its findings Friday.

No one was injured in the Oct. 17 fire in the southwestern North Dakota town of 27 residents.

Deputy Fire Marshall Don Temple stated in the report that the fire started on farmland in western Adams County. The fire burned nearly 6,000 acres and destroyed four homes and several of other structures.
