NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Lipscomb University is giving the public a chance to see its state-of-the-art Nursing and Health Sciences Center.
The university is holding a dedication ceremony on Thursday and allowing people to tour the building.
One main feature of the center is a laboratory for training nurses that includes 19 patient mannequins that can simulate everything from heart problems to giving birth, as well as responses to treatments.
The laboratory can also be converted into an actual emergency treatment center in the event of a crisis on campus or in the community.
