POLITCAL CARTOONS - It is being called the political version of Comic-Con: the country's leading political cartoonists are descending on Washington, just in time for an election. The Festival is being put on by the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists. There will also be a death match - four nationally-known cartoonists will take to the stage, battling it out at easels using pens, ink and punch lines. AVAILABLE NOW.
ASIA RISING - With Asian immigration rising so are the number of Asians running for seats in Congress. In 2012, there are a record 17 candidates in play with six races happening in California. Nationwide, Asians have surpassed Latinos as the largest wave of new immigrants pushing their total to a record 18.2 million and a major voter influence.

AP/GFK POLL: ROMNEY 47%, OBAMA 45 - Less than two weeks before election day, the final AP-GfK poll finds the likely electorate split between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, 47 percent back Romney, 45 percent Obama. That represents no significant change from the previous AP-GfK poll. AVAILABLE NOW.
OLDEST RECORDING GETS DIGITAL TREATMENT - It's scratchy, but a newly digitized recording made on a Thomas Edison-invented phonograph in 1878 captures the oldest playable American voice and the first-ever recording of a musical performance, according to experts. AVAILABLE NOW.

NY, WINDOWS 8 LAUNCH - The biggest revamp ever in how Windows looks and works will be unveiled in Windows 8. It's intended to unify the look of Windows across devices, however it could confuse customers.
CO, TEEN ARRESTED IN 10-YEAR OLD GIRL'S DEATH - A 17-year-old community college student was arrested in suburban Denver, in the death of a 10-year-old girl who lived just a mile away. Austin Sigg is expected to be charged with Jessica Ridgeway's death and a May attack on a jogger. AVAILABLE NOW.
FL, EAST COAST PREPARING FOR SANDY - Much of the U.S. East Coast has a good chance of getting blasted by gale-force winds, flooding, heavy rain and maybe even snow early next week by an unusual hybrid of hurricane and winter storm, federal and private forecasters say. They are calling this a Super Storm.
