DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — An employee at a Toys "R'' Us store in Dublin has died after falling from a ladder and hitting his head on the floor.
Dublin police Capt. Greg Lattanzi tells The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/XWEc6k ) that the man fell from an 8-foot ladder around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday while he was attempting to remove an item from a display. Lattanzi said it appears that he missed a step on the ladder and fell backward, hitting his head.
The victim was pronounced dead at Dublin Methodist Hospital about a half-hour after the incident. His name has not been released because his family is still being notified.
