PATASKALA, Ohio (AP) — A judge has ordered a central Ohio man held without bond after he was accused of gunning down a man who went to check on a possible break-in at his rental property.

Prosecutors in Licking County, east of Columbus, say 50-year-old Danny Hensley has been charged with aggravated murder in the early Sunday slaying of 69-year-old Tom Miller. Deputies said Miller was fatally shot after a security company notified him of a possible intruder at a barn he rented in rural Pataskala (puh-TASK-uh-lah).

Deputies say Hensley was arrested near the scene after a short foot chase. A 15-year-old boy has been charged as an accomplice. He was arrested Sunday night.

The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/SlpdzF ) reports that Hensley and the teen appeared in court Monday.
