ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — The University of Michigan Health System is increasing collaboration with Veterans Administration researchers.

The health system announced Monday that the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System is moving 150 of its researchers to the North Campus Research Complex as part of a new health care institute.

An aim is to help researchers in Ann Arbor work more closely and improve health care.

Officials say they hope to test new ideas for improving care in heart disease, diabetes, mental illness, post-traumatic stress disorder and other areas.
