NEW YORK (AP) — The iconic booth that sells tickets for Broadway and off-Broadway shows in the heart of Times Square is expanding its offerings.

The Theatre Development Fund, the nonprofit which runs the red TKTS booth, said tickets for matinee and evening shows will be sold simultaneously starting Monday. Previously, matinee tickets were sold only from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and evening tickets were only available after 3 p.m.

The fund also will allow ticket buyers to buy full-price tickets to all shows — either in the future or for that same day. Until now, the booth has never sold full-price tickets.

The new services — a pilot program to gauge customer interest — won't be offered at the TKTS booths at the South Street Seaport or in Brooklyn.
