NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — Visitors to Niagara Falls will be seeing pink this weekend.

The Falls was bathed in pink light Friday night as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And all weekend, patrons aboard Maid of the Mist tour boats will sport pink ponchos to protect them from the chilly spray.

James Glynn, chairman and CEO of the Maid of the Mist Corporation, says the company is happy to do its part to increase awareness about breast cancer and support efforts to develop a cure.

It's the first time the pink ponchos will be used.
