Ohio gas prices down from last week

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio motorists are seeing lower gas prices compared with last week.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the state was $3.62 in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. That's 14 cents lower than a week ago.

Ohioans are paying considerably less than a month ago, when the average price was $3.88. This time last year, the state average was $3.38.

The national average Monday was $3.79, down 3 cents from a week ago.
