MONROE, Ohio (AP) — Police are trying to sniff out thieves who escaped with nearly $1,000 in perfume from a southwest Ohio outlet mall.

Monroe police say a Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th store reported the theft of 14 bottles of perfume. The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/SPPFni ) reports police responded Wednesday afternoon to an outlet mall just off Interstate 75.

Police are investigating surveillance video that appears to show several women putting perfume into a white bag, then leaving the store without paying.
