COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police say a woman is dead and a man is injured after being struck by an SUV in Columbus.
Authorities say they were trying to cross a street in the northeast section of the city Thursday night when they were hit.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to a hospital, where he's listed in critical condition.
The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/Rkb0Cf) reports the names of the victims were not immediately released.
Police continue to investigate.
