MANSFIELD, Ohio (AP) — A report says two young sisters have been flown to an Akron hospital after being mauled by dogs in an attack that also injured their aunt.

The Mansfield News Journal reports Thursday (http://bit.ly/Rjt4MF ) that the girls, ages 22 months and 3 years, were in critical condition when they left Mansfield for Akron Children's Hospital.

The paper says three dogs were involved in the attacks around noon, and the girls' aunt is in fair condition in a Mansfield hospital. Officials say the dogs have been captured.

A Richland County Sheriff's Office spokesman said no information was available on the attacks.
