PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Valiant Comics is decimating a planet.
Not earth says Valiant Executive Editor Warren Simons and writer Robert Venditti but rather the Vine home world. Why?
Because it was the Vine that kidnapped and enslaved Visigoth warrior Aric of Dacia who finally escaped and returned home some 1,600 years later.
Now with his wife dead, his people gone and his chance to sack Rome long passed, there's some serious anger issues and it's the Vine home world that will bear the brunt of not just his resentment but the firepower of the X-O Manowar suit that he wears.
Call it, says Venditti, setting the stage for the Valiant universe in an explosive way.
