HOPEDALE, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say two miners have been rescued from an Ohio mine.

The Mine Safety and Health Administration tells local media outlets that two men became trapped at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday when a roof collapsed at the Hopedale Mining Company in Harrison County.

Officials say the miners were trapped for much of the day at the mining complex, about 55 miles west of Pittsburgh.

Authorities say the men were rescued at about 7 p.m. Wednesday. They were not injured.
