TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Muslims and members of other faiths in northern Ohio are planning a prayer service at a landmark mosque near Toledo damaged by a fire last week.

Federal prosecutors have filed hate crimes charges against an Indiana man suspected of starting the fire at the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo.

A multifaith prayer service is set for Sunday afternoon at the mosque.

Authorities found remnants of a plastic gas can in the middle of the prayer room at the Islamic Center last Sunday.

The fire caused smoke and water damage throughout the mosque that sits along Interstate 75. It's a landmark in the Toledo area, with a golden dome that's visible for miles.
