COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The body of an Ohio man has been found after his co-workers reported him missing last week.

Police say 54-year-old Paul Frazier was reported missing when he failed to show up for work.

Police believe Frazier's car went over an embankment Sept. 27 on Interstate 270 in Gahanna. Police received a report of a car swerving on the interstate and hitting the embankment, but they did not have an exact location and were unable to find the crash.

Frazier's body was found Thursday morning in a ditch, west of the crash site.

Police say Frazier apparently smashed the back window to get out of the car and walk away.

The Franklin County coroner said Frazier had been dead for at least two days.
