2 pedestrians struck by car in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Two pedestrians have been injured after being hit by a vehicle on the far east side of Columbus.

WBNS-TV reports (http://bit.ly/Sjp2sH ) that the two were walking across the street when the accident happened at around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

One person has been taken to Grant Medical Center and the other to Nationwide Children's Hospital. A police officer at the scene told the television station they are expected to be OK.
