LAS VEGAS (AP) — Southern Nevada health officials say a 75-year-old woman who'd been hospitalized with West Nile virus has died, and four other people in the region have been diagnosed with the illness.

Officials with the Southern Nevada Health District say Tuesday that the woman's case marks the fourth West Nile-related death in Clark County since 2003.

Other patients with the illness include a 25-year-old woman, a 68-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man with the more serious neuroinvasive form of West Nile. A 52-year-old man has been diagnosed with the less serious strain.

The health district also says it's identified West Nile-positive mosquitoes in the 89145 ZIP code. Authorities had previously announced infected mosquitoes in the 89107 ZIP code.
