Police say Ohio man shot by 3-year-old son

MARION, Ohio (AP) — Police in central Ohio say a father was accidentally shot by his 3-year-old son.

Marion police say they were called to a home Sunday afternoon and found a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his right side. He was taken to a Columbus hospital and underwent surgery. He was expected to survive.

The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/OOPglB ) reports that the handgun used in the shooting and several other guns were removed from the house. No names were released.

The country children's services agency was notified.
