ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — A federal prosecutor is getting together with state authorities and law enforcement officials to talk about the problem of teens abusing prescription drugs.
U.S. Attorney Richard Hartunian will be in Albany this week to talk about what's described as an "innovative initiative" to attack the issue.
Among the agencies involved are the FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, the New York state police and the state Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
They'll be outlining the effort on Monday.
