CLEVELAND (AP) — Gardens highlighting Cleveland's ethnic mosaic are getting a new addition honoring Mother Teresa of Calcutta and her native Albania.
The president of Albania plans to participate in Saturday's dedication at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens.
The Albanian Cultural Garden includes a bust of Mother Teresa. The dedication also marks the 100th anniversary of Albanian independence.
There are three dozen nationality gardens along a winding boulevard near the Cleveland Museum of Art and Lake Erie.
Mother Teresa was known for her work with the poor on Calcutta, India, and won the Nobel Peace Prize.
Pope John Paul II beatified her in 2003, putting her on a path to possible sainthood.
