COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A Greek Orthodox priest has been arrested on sex crime charges in a sting that developed after the priest posted an ad on an adult social networking site.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says Patrick Hughes was arrested Wednesday night when he arrived at a location where he thought he was meeting a 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy for sex.

Sheriff Zach Scott says the 56-year-old Hughes was arrested on charges of attempted rape and attempted unlawful sexual contact with a minor.

Hughes remained in Franklin County Jail Thursday night, where no attorney was listed for him.

Investigators are examining a laptop found in the Columbus hotel room where Hughes was staying.

The Columbus Dispatch reported (http://bit.ly/OK66MQ ) that Hughes' bond was set at $100,000 during a Thursday court appearance.
