HOPEDALE, Ohio (AP) — Troopers with the State Highway Patrol say they believe alcohol contributed to an all-terrain vehicle crash that killed a 46-year-old driver and injured his passenger in eastern Ohio.
WTOV-TV in Steubenville (http://bit.ly/RUQ4pe ) reports the ATV went off the side of a rural roadway and overturned Saturday night in Harrison County's Green Township, roughly 110 miles east of Columbus.
Authorities say the 46-year-old driver from Massillon and his 42-year-old female passenger were not wearing helmets.
The driver died at the scene. The passenger, also from Massillon, was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
