COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police say they are ready to intercept any illegally parked vehicles for Ohio State University Buckeye games.
The university begins early Saturday on game days moving cars from lots reserved for season-pass holders, fans with disabilities or for recreational vehicles.
Columbus police urge people to check for signs and other messages on parking rules and if they are not sure if their space is legal, find another one.
University-towed cars cost at least $95, while the police towing costs at least $125 plus a fine.
The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/UW6gVW ) reports that word must be getting out. The school towed a total 27 vehicles the first two home games this season, compared to an average of 30 a game last year.
