MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Pink ribbons are being painted at Manchester, N.H., intersections to raise awareness of an upcoming walk against breast cancer.

Large 4-foot ribbons will be painted Sunday along the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer route. The walk is Sunday, Oct. 21. Organizers said the ribbons aim to remind people to get a mammogram.

Painters will gather at 8 a.m. at Arms Park. Ribbons will be painted at intersections on Granite, Elm, Commercial and Canal streets.
