LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles prosecutors have charged a man with trespassing after his weekend arrest at the home of actress-singer Miley Cyrus.

A city attorney's spokesman says Jason Luis Rivera was charged Monday with two counts of trespassing and one count of resisting arrest.

River was arrested early Saturday after police say he attempted to force himself into Cyrus' home. Police said at the time he was carrying a pair of scissors and claimed to be a friend of Cyrus.

Rivera is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday. Jail records show the 40-year-old is currently being held on $1,000 bail.
