HASKELL, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a 25-year-old man is recovering after he broke his leg in a skydiving accident over the weekend.

Muskogee County emergency officials responded to the call at about 3:15 p.m. Sunday at the airport in Haskell. Authorities tell Tulsa television station KOTV (http://is.gd/hhJGJu ) that the skydiver landed hard in the target area at the airport.

SkyDive Tulsa, which offers skydiving at the airport, says the man is an experienced skydiver. The company says the man's parachute was fully open when he landed.

The company declined further comment.

The man is recovering at a Tulsa hospital.
