SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) — Police say a man released from an Ohio prison six months ago has been arrested in the killing of a 23-year-old woman and her two young children.

Authorities in the northern Ohio town of Sandusky said at news conference Monday afternoon that 41-year-old Curtis Clinton of Sandusky was arrested on charges of aggravated murder.

Officers found the bodies of Heather Jackson and her 3-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son Saturday night in their home. A family friend had told police they had not been heard from all day.

Police say Clinton is being held at the Erie County jail and will appear in court Tuesday morning.

He spent 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of a woman in northwest Ohio's Wood County.
