MOTOROLA ANNOUNCES NEW RAZR LINE - Motorola unveiled its new Razr line yesterday as part of a slew of announcements from technology giants on new products. Apple has an announcement scheduled from September 12, with many thinking it will be a new iPhone. Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, Motorola CEO, Dennis Woodside, and Verizon Wireless CMO, Tami Erwin talk about the new product.

CLINTON BOOSTS OBAMA AT CONVENTION - Former President Bill Clinton provided the highlight of the evening, formally putting Barack Obama's name up for nomination at the DNC and delivering an impassioned defense of Obama's term in office.

FACT CHECK: CLINTON COMPROMISE CLAIMS A STRETCH - An AP fact check found that in his address to the DNC, former President Bill Clinton's portrayal of President Obama as a pragmatic compromiser left out the roles of Obama and Democrats in the Washington gridlock.

YOUNGEST, OLDEST DNC DELEGATES 80 YEARS APART - The youngest and oldest delegates to the DNC were born 80 years apart, but they say the thrill of participating in the political process is timeless.

CLINTON: GOP ATTACK 'TAKES A LOT OF BRASS' - In a rousing speech before the DNC that was vintage Bill Clinton, the former president criticized President Obama's Republican challengers saying he didn't know whether to laugh or cry at some of their attacks.

WARREN: OBAMA IS A FIGHTER FOR MIDDLE CLASS - Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful Elizabeth Warren is casting herself as a champion of a beleaguered middle class and a foe of moneyed interests in a speech to the DNC.

FLUKE SOUNDS ALARM ON WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES - Attorney and women's rights activist Sandra Fluke is sounding dire warnings at the DNC on a range of health issues if the GOP wins the White House.

BLACK CAUCUS CHAIR: DISCORD IS HURTING COUNTRY - The chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus says the divisiveness on Capitol Hill has weakened the country and given neither political party an advantage over the other.

'NUNS ON THE BUS' GETS DNC SPEAKING SLOT - Sister Simone Campbell, who lead a 2,700 mile journey called 'Nuns on the Bus,' spoke at the DNC, saying 'I am my sister's keeper. I am my brother's keeper.'

DEMOCRATS CHANGE PLATFORM TO ADD GOD, JERUSALEM - Platform changes did not sit well with some Democratic delegates. Many in the audience booed after the convention chairman ruled that the amendments had been approved.

PELOSI: 'OUR DEMOCRACY IS ON THE BALLOT' - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told the crowd at the DNC that 'our democracy is on the ballot,' saying that Democrats 'believe we must curb the influence of special interests on our political institutions.'

'28-THOUSAND TWEETS PER MINUTE' FOR FIRST LADY - Four years after social media made its presence felt in the Republican and Democratic conventions in 2008, new media has fully burst onto the scene in 2012 and dramatically changed the political landscape.

THURSDAY NIGHT SPEECHES - On the final day of the DNC, Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama will accept the Democratic nomination for November's election.

LA, ISAAC CLEANUP - Cleanup efforts continue in the Gulf following Hurricane Isaac. Debris washed in from the storm, including tar balls from oil, has been littering the beaches in the region.

FL, NEW CREDIT CARD FOR RECOVERING ADDICTS - The founder of 'The Next Step Card' says its unique features are what those battling addiction need in their recovery. The prepaid card has spending limits and will not work in certain predetermined places. The card is currently in a testing phase and will be available nationally soon.

AZ, IMMIGRATION LAW - Arizona's controversial immigration law is set to take effect. It requires Arizona police to check the immigration status of people they stop while enforcing other laws who are suspected of being in the U.S. illegally.

CA, AMAZON ANNOUNCES NEW PRODUCT - In a press conference today, Amazon will announce their next product to launch this fall.

KY, FORMER SEX CLUB FOUND UNDER LOUISVILLE BUILDING - A construction crew restoring a row of historic buildings in downtown Louisville found an underground room that was briefly used as a sex club in the 1990s.

NY, RODDICK'S CAREER ENDS WITH U.S. OPEN LOSS - Always a fan favorite at the U.S. Open, and the 2003 champion, Andy Roddick headed into retirement with a 6-7, 7-6, 6-2, 6-4 loss to Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina in the fourth round at Flushing Meadows.

PUTIN SAYS HE COULD WORK WITH ROMNEY IF ELECTED - Russian President Vladimir Putin says Russia can work with Mitt Romney is he is elected U.S. president, even though Romney has called Russia the United States' 'No. 1 geopolitical foe.'

4-YEAR-OLD HIDING UNDER BODIES FOUND IN FRANCE - A four-year-old girl was found alive under her slain mother's legs in the back of a car near the French village of Chevaline. The mysterious shooting rampage left four adults dead and a 7-year-old girl hospitalized.

CHINESE NAVAL DRILL - A Chinese naval fleet recently conducted a drill on the South China Sea to enhance combat-worthiness.

GADGET FROM POPULAR BRITISH TV SHOW - Doctor Who and sci-fi geeks can swap their TV remotes for a working 'sonic screwdriver.' A detailed replica of the gadget used in the popular science-fiction series is on sale now.

FUTURE OF BULLFIGHTING IN SPAIN AND MEXICO - Spain's public broadcaster has begun airing live bullfights again six years after the fights were banned from the widely watched public channel. The Spanish brought bullfighting to Mexico nearly five hundred years ago and since then the sport has thrived with hundreds of students enrolling each year to learn how to become a matador in Guadalajara.

TECH BLOGGERS IN EUROPE SPECULATE ON NEXT APPLE PRODUCTS - Tech bloggers are speculating on the new Apple products, hoping for certain features to be included in the new devices. For the new iPhone, they are looking for an increase in the phone's screen size and for it to be 4G capable. Pryemyslaw Pajak, a writer for the Polish based technology website Spider Web, thinks the increased screen size is a probable feature to be included on the new products.
