Hector expected to weaken

MIAMI (AP) — Tropical Storm Hector is getting weaker in the Pacific.

Forecasters expect the storm to become a tropical depression by tomorrow night or Thursday.

Hector is located about 500 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja, Calif. It has 40 mph winds with stronger gusts. There aren't any coastal watches or warnings in effect.
