Billy Graham doing well at NC hospital

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Doctors say the Rev. Billy Graham "continues to improve steadily" at a North Carolina hospital where he's being treated for bronchitis.

The 93-year-old Graham was admitted to Mission Hospital in Asheville overnight Saturday for treatment of the lung infection.

Hospital officials said Monday that he's in stable condition and has been taking meals and watching television.

They say, "No date has been set for discharge, but with his continued improvement physicians are hopeful he will be released soon."

Billy Graham was hospitalized for pneumonia last November. His staff says the evangelist's health has been good since then, although his sight, hearing and mobility are limited.

He's been working on an upcoming book at his home in Montreat, N.C.
