CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — An investigation is under way after a Signal Mountain woman said she found poison in her coffee.

No charges have been filed, but the Chattanooga Times Free Press (http://bit.ly/OZggvP ) reported Hamilton County and Signal Mountain investigators spent about two hours Tuesday afternoon, searching the home of Dr. Hal Hill and his wife, Liesa Hill.

Police declined to release details. The newspaper said Hal Hill did not return calls to his cellphone seeking comment.

On Friday, Liesa Hill obtained an order of protection against her physician husband, saying she saw him slip something into her coffee. She stopped drinking coffee and her attorney, Chrissy Mincy, said her client's health improved markedly.

The protection order states a sample of the coffee was tested and high levels of barium were found.
