GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Mitt Romney's supporters are on a Front Range bus tour to try to steal the spotlight from President Obama's visit to Colorado.
The tour includes Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, former Colorado congressman Bob Beauprez (boh-PRAY') and current congressman Cory Gardner. It started in Greeley Wednesday morning. The tour also swings by Denver — where President Obama is scheduled to address the economy and women's issues — and wraps up in Pueblo, where the president will be speaking Thursday morning.
Romney addressed a crowd at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds last week and is spending the day in Iowa and the Northeast.
Colorado is one of the most hotly-contested states in the presidential campaign and both candidates are expected to visit the state frequently before November.
