OYSTER BAY, N.Y. (AP) — The FBI has divers at the yacht that capsized and sank off New York's Long Island, killing three children on the Fourth of July.

The plan is to raise the vessel on Tuesday.

Nassau County police said Monday that they had asked the federal agency to help because of its expertise. The FBI has three vessels and about 20 personnel at the scene.

A funeral for the boy who died was held Monday. Services for the two girls are set for Tuesday.

Twenty-four other people escaped from the capsized vessel.

The accident claimed the lives of 12-year-old David Aureliano; his 11-year-old cousin, Harley Treanor; and a family friend, Victoria Gaines. Victoria was about to celebrate her 8th birthday.
