Obama launches campaign bus trip

PARMA, Ohio (AP) — President Barack Obama has fired another volley at opponent Mitt Romney's tax stance during a campaign swing through the battleground state of Ohio.

Speaking in Parma, Obama said the Republican's plan would cut taxes for the wealthy at the expense of education spending and health care for the elderly. Obama says he doesn't need a tax cut and "Mr. Romney sure doesn't need a tax cut."

And Obama defended his health care overhaul during his first campaign appearance since the law was upheld by the Supreme Court. He says it's "here to stay," and that it will "make the vast majority of Americans more secure."

Obama focused on working class Americans even as he braced for a Friday unemployment report that will help set battle lines for the hot summer to come.
